Swirl marks, haze, water etching, and some scratches can dull the finish. Nikola uses measured polishing stages to reduce suitable defects while preserving as much healthy clear coat as possible.
Clear coat is finite. Nikola inspects the paint under proper lighting, measures what the defects require, and corrects exactly that much—no heroic wet-sanding a finish that needs one refining pass, no single-stage shortcut on paint that deserves more.
Correction is also the gateway service: it is the preparation step that decides how good a ceramic coating or film installation can ever look.

Correction can reduce defects within the clear coat, including swirls, haze, light scratches, water etching, and oxidation. Damage through the clear coat requires paint work; Nikola explains what is achievable after inspection.
