Glass is cleaned and decontaminated on both faces first, because anything trapped under film stays visible for its life. Film is computer-cut to the vehicle's own patterns rather than trimmed on the glass, keeping blades away from paint and defroster lines.

Each piece is heat-shrunk to the curve of the glass and squeegeed out. Expect a short curing period during which the film may look slightly hazy and the windows should stay up.

Film needs a short curing period before the windows are rolled down, usually a few days depending on weather. Slight haze or small water pockets during that time are normal and clear on their own.

After curing it is maintained like glass, with the one exception that ammonia-based cleaners should be avoided because they degrade the film over time.
